Responsibilities:
You'll be a trusted technical authority, delivering EC&I engineering solutions that are safe, reliable and future‑proof. Your work will involve:
Designing and deploying robust EC&I systems aligned with ATEX, DSEAR and intrinsic safety standards
Integrating your EC&I designs into wider sustainability and engineering projects
Tackling complex instrumentation and controls challenges using a blend of experience, judgement and innovation
Preparing project scopes, cost estimates and timelines for new engineering work
Staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry best practice
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and growing talent around you
Requirements:
HNC or higher in Electrical/Controls Engineering (or related discipline)
5+ years' experience in EC&I design-especially within ATEX/hazardous environments
Strong working knowledge of control systems, schematics, and safety regulations
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and a proven problem-solver
