With twelve SEN Schools across the UK, we collaborate to offer each pupil a tailored, varied, and appropriate education that fosters engagement, inspires learning, and encourages achievement. We are thrilled to share that 100% of our inspected services have been rated as Good or Outstanding by Ofsted!

Your Role

As an SEN Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.

* Supporting the class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.

* Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other school staff to meet individual needs.

* Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.

* Building positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and achieve positive learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Possess a strong educational background at degree level.

* Have previous successful teaching experience.

* Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.

* Demonstrate knowledge of behavior management techniques.

* Be committed to professional development and eager to learn.

* Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.

Join us and enjoy a workplace that truly values the emotional health and wellbeing of everyone, including you! Here’s what you can expect:

* A commitment to supporting your professional development through a variety of opportunities.

* The chance to make a significant impact on the lives and lifelong learning of vulnerable children who deserve high-quality teaching in a safe environment.

* A friendly and inclusive team passionate about improving pupil outcomes.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which will be covered by Polaris Education. We are an equal opportunities employer and encourage applications from suitably qualified candidates. Polaris Education is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff to share this commitment.
