Responsibilities:
Responding to new referrals from the public and professionals
Carrying out assessments to identify support needs or safeguarding concerns
Signposting families to the right services or progressing cases as appropriate
Managing a diverse and sometimes complex caseload
Preparing high-quality reports and court statements
Working closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver the best outcomes
To be considered for the role:
Registered Social Worker with Social Work England (SWE)
A recognised qualification in Social Work (e.g., BA, BSc, or equivalent)
Ideally, prior experience in a Children's Duty and Assessment Team
Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
