Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Football Coach to join our JPL programme with Chars Youth Football Club located in Cheshunt. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive team environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about football coaching and player development, looking to make a meaningful impact on young footballers' holistic development.
Duties
* Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to the coaching syllabus.
* Develop customised training programmes to enhance technical abilities, tactical understanding, and footballing knowledge.
* Provide constructive feedback to players to encourage improvement and confidence.
* Organise training sessions, practice matches during pre-season, and competitive fixtures in accordance with the JPL league schedule.
* Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork among players.
* Monitor player progress and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
* Collaborate with other coaching staff, parents, and organisational members to support player development.
* Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe environment adhering to health and safety as well as safeguarding regulations.

* FA Safeguarding Children (Required)
* FA Introduction To First Aid (Required)
* An In-Date DBS Certificate (Required)
* Any Other Relevant Qualification (Nice To Have)
Skills
* Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably within football or similar team sports.
* Strong coaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire players of all ages.
* Excellent organisational skills to plan training sessions effectively.
* Good communication skills to liaise with players, parents, and staff.
* Passionate about youth development and promoting active lifestyles
