The Spitfire Hangar is the first operational venue within this exciting development, offering flexible and adaptive spaces for events, meetings and local engagement.
We're now looking for an Events and Venue Supervisor to support the smooth running of the Spitfire Hangar and help deliver exceptional experiences for organisers, visitors and the community.

What you'll do
You'll play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation of Spitfire Hangar, supporting event delivery, room set‑ups and visitor experience.
Working closely with the Events and Venue team, you'll ensure the space is always welcoming, safe and ready for use.
Your core responsibilities will cover the following areas.
Venue and event operations
* Setting up, delivering and breaking down events, meetings and activities.
* Preparing rooms and layouts to meet event requirements.
* Supporting quick and efficient event changeovers.
* Carrying out basic checks before and after space usage.
* Assisting with basic catering delivery.
Event organising and enquiry support
* Welcoming organisers, partners and hirers on arrival.
* Occasionally acting as first point of contact for organisers on event day.
* Responding event enquiries when required.
* Passing accurate details to the Events and Venue team for follow‑up.
* Maintaining a professional and helpful approach to all enquiries.
Front of house and visitor experience
* Acting as a visible, friendly and proactive presence within the venue.
* Directing visitors to rooms and activity spaces.
* Supporting access requirements and maintaining an inclusive environment.
* Assisting with managing visitor flow during busy periods.
Health, safety and security
* Supporting safe venue operation in line with procedures.
* Assisting with opening and closing tasks as required.
* Monitoring spaces during events and reporting hazards or incidents.
* Supporting emergency or evacuation procedures when needed.
Facilities and operational support
* Carrying out light facilities tasks linked to event set‑ups.
* Working with cleaning and facilities teams to ensure rooms are event‑ready.
Team and operational contribution
* Collaborating with Events and Venue colleagues and wider YTL Live teams.
* Communicating clearly with colleagues, contractors and partners.
* Being flexible in supporting operational needsitfire Hangar and future YTL Live spaces.
* Completing other reasonable duties to support venue operations.
What you'll need
You will bring a positive, hands‑on approach with great people skills and the confidence to support a busy, customer‑facing venue environment.

You will be a strong team player with a positive approach and a calm and helpful manner.
Essential requirements
* Experience in a customer‑facing role (events, hospitality, leisure or community settings ideal).
* Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to provide clear, accurate information to organisers and colleagues.
* Physical ability to support room set‑ups and manual handling.
Desirable requirements
* Experience working in an event venue or multi‑use space.
* A basic understanding of event enquiries or venue hire processes.
* Awareness of health and safety within a public venue environment.
