Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding and supporting both children and fellow staff members.

Responsibilities

* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating findings to parents and guardians.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience, incorporating creative play and exploration.
* Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

* A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, with the ability to inspire young learners.
* Ability to drive initiatives that promote children's learning through play-based approaches.
* Knowledge of child development theories and practices is an advantage.
