THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Mortgage & Protection Administrator to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a pivotal role; you’ll be the engine that keeps our cases moving, our advisors organised and our clients well looked after from application all the way through to completion.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment alongside a team that genuinely pulls together. We need someone who knows the mortgage process inside out, takes pride in accuracy, and brings energy and initiative to everything they do.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Pre-offer
* Acting as first point of contact for inbound calls and directing enquiries appropriately
* Managing advisor diaries and booking client appointments
* Loading cases onto our CRM and owning the submission process with 100% accuracy
* Reviewing client documentation and ensuring all files are compliant, complete and up to date
* Submitting applications to lenders as directed by advisors and managing cases day-to-day
* Proactively chasing clients and lenders for outstanding information to keep cases on track
* Hosting workstack meetings and preparing supporting reports
* Staying current on lender and provider criteria to effectively support the advisory team
Post-offer
* Liaising with lenders, clients and solicitors to ensure smooth progress to completion
* Providing clients with regular, proactive updates throughout the post-offer period
* Keeping advisors informed on all open post-offer cases on a weekly basis
* Identifying and flagging upsell opportunities — GI, protection, will and estate planning referrals, wealth management introductions and renewal appointments
* Sending and managing review requests on behalf of advisors
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in mortgage administration within a brokerage environment
* Solid, up-to-date working knowledge of the mortgage application process end to end
* High attention to detail and a zero-compromise attitude towards accuracy
* Strong communication skills; confident on the phone, clear in writing
* Able to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively and stay calm under pressure
* Proficient in Office 365; CRM experience an advantage
* Right to work in the United Kingdom
WORKING AT HHH
This is a fully remote role with genuine flexibility. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with occasional travel for team meetings. Salary is £26,000–£29,000 depending on experience.
