Are you passionate about the accounting profession and eager to shape how Sage shows up for accountants across the globe? We're looking for a strategic and customer-focused Product Marketing Manager to join our global team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you'll lead the go-to-market strategy for Sage's accountant-focused solutions, building global strategies, driving regional relevance, and ensuring our propositions resonate with the needs of accountants in France, Spain, and across Europe. As the voice of the customer, you'll collaborate closely with global Product, Regional GTM, and Commercial teams to deliver differentiated propositions, impactful messaging, and successful launches. You'll play a pivotal role in our Winning in Europe initiative, driving Sage's leadership and strengthening our relevance in the accounting profession. Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week from our Newcastle office. Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities - Lead the go-to-market strategy for Sage's accountant-focused products globally, with a strong focus on the European market. - Shape how Sage's accountant solutions are packaged, priced, and positioned to ensure clarity, competitiveness, and customer impact. - Lead the strategy and execution of Sage's Winning in Europe initiatives, ensuring Sage becomes the partner of choice for eInvoicing across France, Spain, and other priority EU markets. - Design and deliver integrated propositions that resonate with firms of all sizes-from sole practitioners to mid-market practices. - Conduct market research to uncover evolving accountant needs and identify growth opportunities. - Contribute to vertical strategies for accounting segments, including embedded services. - Collaborate cross-functionally to drive adoption, engagement, and commercial growth through product-led initiatives. - Work with partner and B2B2SMB channels to activate regional go-to-market plans. - Act as the voice of the European accountant, providing market and customer insights to global product and strategy teams. - Define commercial models, pricing, and packaging frameworks to support growth and competitiveness. Essential Skills & Experience - Proven experience in Product Marketing, Go-to-Market Strategy, or Commercial Strategy, ideally within B2B SaaS, fintech, or accounting technology. - Deep understanding of accountant needs in European markets, particularly in France and Spain. - Strong expertise in market positioning, messaging, and product launch execution. - Experience developing value-led propositions and tiered pricing models. - Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into impactful narratives. - Proven success influencing cross-functional teams across global and regional structures. - Strategic and commercially minded, balancing long-term brand positioning with short-term growth objectives. - Fluent in English; additional European languages (especially French or Spanish) are advantageous. - Willingness to travel occasionally to key European markets for research, collaboration, and GTM support.
