We’re looking for caring and enthusiastic Social and Emotional Classroom Assistants to support pupils in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and help young people aged 11–16 thrive, particularly those with SEND and SEMH needs.
You’ll play a vital role in creating a positive and nurturing environment, supporting students with their social and emotional development, and helping them build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (perfect for work-life balance!)

What we’re looking for:
Experience working with children (professional or voluntary) – SEN/SEMH experience is a bonus but not essential!
A positive, proactive, and empathetic attitude
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
Two recent references (work or education-based)
Your role will involve:
Supporting pupils with their social and emotional well-being in and out of the classroom
Helping children build confidence, friendships, and independence
Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Encouraging positive behaviour through patience, consistency, and care
Celebrating every small achievement and being a positive role model
