Robertson Timber Engineering Ltd is seeking a Senior Design Technician to support an efficient Timber Frame design service for fabrication and construction of timber structural frames. You will work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the company’s management systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Project manage and coordinate design information through the design process from concept to completion.
* Work to an agreed Preconstruction program and monitor design costs and durations as agreed at the outset.
* Produce accurate Timber frame drawings and schedules for construction and manufacture using Auto CAD and consultec software.
* Work on a variety of projects from housing to commercial projects, including education and health care buildings, hotels and closed panel projects.
* Assist with mentoring and support of the design department, including supervising trainees when required.
* Ensure awareness and implementation of Quality, Health & Safety and Human Resource Policies and Procedures, raising any doubts with your Direct Line Manager.
