Sales Manager

Hybrid role, with site visits in Fleetwood.

Client Overview:

A private limited company specializing in the manufacture of man-made fibres, particularly high-performance monofilaments. Established in the 80s the company has over three decades of experience in polymer extrusion and fibre technology.

Role Overview

The Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to develop business with new and existing customers in Europe and the UK with-in a range of industries requiring Conductive Fibres & Polymers.

This position is responsible for meeting quotas to deliver sales goals and profitability, consistently providing excellent customer service 80% of business will be conducted in Europe and 20% in the UK, ideally targeting around 30 visits per year to customers.

Responsibilities:

* Hold commercial responsibility for the UK, Europe, and selected Asian accounts, with travel as required.
* Lead project-based sales activities, ensuring customer needs are met throughout all project stages.
* Manage a global distribution network, including monthly business reviews and performance monitoring.
* Provide tailored product recommendations and prepare quotations.
* Deliver accurate sales and volume forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
* Align with supply chain, production and logistics to fulfil customer requirements and business targets.
* Conduct reviews of customer complaints, ensuring prompt analysis, corrective action implementation and resolution – including compensation negotiations where necessary.
* Report to senior management on account activity, including forecasting, call reports, and business development progress.

Person Spec:

* Proven B2B sales.
* Experience selling from the plastics or man made fibres industry.
* Detail oriented.
* Self-motivated to succeed and complete tasks to a high standard.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office.
* Willingness to travel as required into Europe, UK and some Asian travel
