As an experienced and adaptable Technical Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative and technical support. You will work closely with the Senior Partner, Mike, and the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of new business, while supporting clients and providers with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.
This is a hands-on role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication, and a proactive approach to keeping both clients and the team informed. You will play an important part in helping the practice run efficiently day to day, ensuring that every client receives the friendly and attentive service we pride ourselves on.
This position is based Leamington Spa, CV34, with the option to work from home on a Wednesday.
The benefits
* Basic salary - £28,000 - 35,000.
* Company pension scheme.
* 21 days holidays + bank holidays + additional two-week paid closure over Christmas.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Manage all aspects of new business processing from initial submission through to completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout.
* Contact existing providers to obtain policy-specific information for analysis, transfer, or reporting purposes.
* Administer the submission of applications to platforms or product providers, monitoring systems to ensure timely acceptance and completion.
* Maintain accurate client and policy records within the CRM and spreadsheets, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company procedures.
* Keep clients informed of progress on any changes or new business actions taken on their behalf.
* Provide regular updates to Mike and the team on case progress, outstanding requirements, and key administrative priorities.
* Obtain provider quotations, illustrations, and supporting documentation as required.
* Handle ad hoc client administration tasks such as changes of address or documentation requests.
* Manage incoming calls and emails, directing queries appropriately and ensuring they are resolved promptly.
* Support the Senior Partner with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks to ensure the business runs smoothly.
What will you need to succeed?
* You’ll be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
* Experience using financial planning or CRM systems.
* Familiarity with FE Tools, investment platforms, or cashflow modelling software would be advantageous.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative work.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Confident communicator who provides clear, timely updates and builds positive relationships with clients, providers, and colleagues.
* Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
* Flexible and open to improving processes and embracing change.
