Permanent Weekend Veterinary Nurse - Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is part time for 2 days per week every other week, working only weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

About the role:
7. The role will involve all aspects of nursing including consultations, assisting the Vet in surgery and procedures, anaesthesia management, lab work and some minimal reception work

13. They are equipped with facilities including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab and endoscopy
14. They have a team of 12 vets, 12 RVNs, 7 SVNs and a supportive non-clinical team

About you:
19. The role will involve some sole charge so the RVN will be confident in their own abilities and be able to manage anaesthesia and patient care
20. The RVN will have the motivation and desire to utilise all of their skills

22. They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily
Package
23. Salary: Up to £29, pro rata commensurate to experience
24. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays and birthday off pro rata
