Mechanical Technician (Afternoon Shift) Permanent Employment Tewkesbury Aerospace Engineering £33,849 24% Shift Uplift (£41,972) Afternoon Shift Pattern: Monday and Tuesday - 2pm to 9.15pm Wednesday and Thursday - 2pm to 9.30pm Friday - 11.30am to 7.30pm The Role – Mechanical Technician We are seeking a number of skilled Mechanical Fitter/Technicians to join a busy manufacturing business in the North Gloucestershire area. This role would be suitable for Fitters and Technicians who have served a full apprenticeship and hold suitable qualifications to gain stamp holder recognition. You'll need to have clear experience in working on complex assemblies inclusive of hydraulic components, with aerospace experience seen as a major bonus. Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Technician Finding and testing faults of small, complex mechanical systems. Assembling of complex hydraulic products. Reading engineering drawings. Completing Quality Audits. Repairing faulty builds. Inspecting completed work Key Experience & Qualifications – Mechanical Technician Apprentice trained NVQ Level 3 minimum Proven experience within a complex engineering/manufacturing environment. Hydraulic component experience Competent at reading and following different set procedures.
