Job Description
3. Manage the commercial aspects of responsive repairs contracts from inception to final account
4. Prepare, monitor, and control budgets, forecasts, and cost plans
5. Value and certify subcontractor work, ensuring timely and accurate payments
6. Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks
7. Produce monthly cost/value reconciliation reports
8. Liaise with operational teams to ensure efficient delivery and cost-effective solutions
9. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
10. Support continuous improvement and drive value for money across all activities
The Successful Applicant
11. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within social housing or maintenance contracts
12. Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and planned maintenance environments
13. Excellent understanding of cost control, contract administration, and commercial reporting
14. Experience managing subcontractors and supply chain relationships
15. Strong analytical and negotiation skills
16. Proficient in relevant software and Microsoft Office
17. Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
