Logistics Coordinator
Location: Kidderminster (Hartlebury area)
Salary: £14 - £15 per hour (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Flexible - 7:00-15:00 / 8:00-16:00 / 9:00-17:00
Contract: Temp to Perm
Start Date: Immediate
Working Pattern: Full-time or Part-time (3-4 days per week considered)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business, recognised as a leader within its specialist field. They are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support their supply chain and distribution operations.

The Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will act as a key link between customers, internal departments, and external logistics providers to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating the dispatch of customer orders in line with requirements
* Liaising with freight forwarders to arrange cost-effective and reliable transport
* Preparing and managing all dispatch and export documentation
* Supporting warehouse operations with accurate and timely updates on collections and deliveries
* Monitoring delivery performance, delays, and associated costs
* Managing stock movements between external warehouse providers and the manufacturing site
* Carrying out stock reconciliation and investigating discrepancies
* Supporting internal teams and deputising for management when required
* Maintaining accurate filing systems in line with company procedures
* General administrative duties as required
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and environmental standards
About You
Essential:
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
* High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* IT literate, including Microsoft Office
Desirable:
* Previous experience within logistics, transport, or supply chain
* Understanding of freight forwarding and export processes
* Experience working with international shipments (road, sea, or air)
* Knowledge of stock control and warehouse coordination
