Qualification: Leading to or already achieved ACCA Professional qualification
Requirements
* Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
* AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA (preferred)
* Good knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines

The Role
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will support senior team members while managing a portfolio of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within a supportive practice environment.
Qualities we are looking for
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping
* Preparing VAT returns and tax computations
* Supporting the preparation of personal and corporation tax returns
* Liaising with clients and responding to queries professionally
* Assisting senior managers with client work
* Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with deadlines.
