Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Band 2 or 3 Healthcare Support Worker (depending on experience) with excellent communication skills to work as part of the Outpatient nursing team in the ENT/OMF department.
Outpatient’s is a diverse, multidisciplinary environment which requires flexible and adaptable skills, an aptitude to learn and a motivation to develop your own skills. If you are a dynamic individual who enjoys a challenge and would like to join a team who are passionate about providing high quality care to their patients, then we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality nursing care and work autonomously as well as part of a team.
* Ensure a patient’s privacy, dignity and psychological well-being is maintained and that care is patient-centred at all times.
* Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; be forward thinking, well organised and adaptable to change.
* Be prepared to rotate through other Outpatients areas to support during annual leave and sickness.
* Work patterns are flexible to meet service needs, including weekend working.
Qualifications and experience
* Band 2 or 3 Healthcare Support Worker (depending on experience).
* Recent Outpatient experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
