We are currently looking for a Yard Foreman in the Inverness area to support our growing operations team. This is a fantastic role that will allow the successful candidate to up‑skill and develop through the company. You will find more details below.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, develop and appraise yard operatives to achieve a high performing team
* Review equipment and take action to correct and repair damages to ensure kit is fit for use
* Manage transport activities within the depot to ensure the most efficient and cost effective use of company vehicles and/or external haulier
* Be aware of the Statutory Transport Legislation and ensure compliance
* Monitor loading and stacking against picking lists and other authorised documentation ensuring accuracy of delivery of stock
* Comply with Health and Safety requirements in depot to ensure loading, unloading and moving stock is carried out in a safe and secure environment
* Drive and develop a customer service culture and effective communication to enable optimal working methods
What You Need
* Experience in an operative position
* Experience in a similar sector / industry
* FLT Licence
* Full UK Driving Licence
