We're looking to recruit a Scheme Manager in Liverpool to support our client on a temporary basis initially for 3 months. This is a 37 hour per week role, where you will split your time between two of our clients' sheltered housing schemes for residents aged 55+, delivering high-quality housing management services and empowering customers to remain independent.
Your new role
1. Act as first point of contact for all customers and visitors, responding to any queries and triaging frontline housing management issues, signposting to specialist teams where appropriate.
2. Resolve low-level tenant disputes, liaising with the Enforcement or Neighbourhoods team where required
3. Carry out daily wellbeing checks and respond to emergency calls
4. Assist with tenancy sustainment, digital access and benefit applications
5. Support new resident inductions and promote independent living
6. Conduct risk and needs assessments for new lettings, and review current risk/needs assessments for residents already in properties.
7. Conduct routine health and safety inspections, fire alarm tests, monitormunal areas, assist with logging repairs and coordinate with contractors.
8. Identify and report any safeguarding concerns, and support residents with referrals for aids, adaptations and assistive technology.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Proven experience in a frontline housing management role, ideally having worked with over 55s and vulnerable tenants of social housing
10. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
11. Good knowledge and understanding of housing legislation and best practice
12. Ability to work well independently on own initiative
