Account Manager - Southampton - Hybrid position working in the office 4 days a week and 1 day from home - £27,000 + excellent bonus and package.
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to manage and grow relationships within a defined geographic market or industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building connections, delivering excellent service, and driving commercial success.

Responsibilities
* Develop and manage assigned customer accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and support.
* Strengthen existing relationships to increase business volume and diversify product/service offerings.
* Ensure customer requirements around pricing, delivery, quality, and special handling are met effectively and efficiently.
* Coordinate large bids, quotes, and orders in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
* Provide technical information and support to customers as needed.
* Accurately enter and confirm sales orders.
* Proactively manage order backlogs and expedite where necessary.
* Handle customer returns and ensure smooth resolution.
* Support team members during peak periods and absences.
* Participate in additional projects and initiatives as assigned.

* Proven experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities.
* Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
