Job Title: Product Engineer Location: near Surrey United Kingdom Duration: Permanent / Full Time Sector: Engineering Reporting to: Engineering Manager We are seeking an experienced Product Engineer. The role will be office-based role, you'll play a key part in the design and technical support of electrical products, particularly single-phase electrical panels, as well as provide crucial support to customers and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Design & Documentation: Prepare schematic and general arrangement (GA) drawings for single-phase electrical panels using AutoCAD. Specify and layout all components for electrical panel designs. Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and guidance to customers and internal teams (Field Engineers, Admin, Workshop Technicians) to resolve hardware/software issues. Testing & Inspection: Conduct functional tests and electrical inspections on custom-designed electrical panels. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate product failures and warranty issues to determine underlying causes and suggest corrective actions. Product Development: Contribute to the creation and improvement of Product Test Procedures and generate relevant technical documentation. Required Skills & Experience: Testing and Fault ifinding.
