Overview
From the team behind The Black Friar, we are seeking experienced Bartenders to join the reopening team at The Horse and Jockey, a much-loved Chorlton landmark returning to the heart of the community.
Our bar will celebrate both heritage and innovation: well-kept local beers, a thoughtful wine list, and a cocktail menu that is central to our offer. This is a role for bartenders who are confident with cocktails, eager to showcase their skills, and looking to work in a pub setting that values quality over volume.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver smooth service.
What we're looking for
* Strong cocktail-making experience, with confidence in both classics and contemporary serves.
* A well-rounded knowledge of beer and wine, and a willingness to keep learning.
* A genuine passion for hospitality, with the ability to engage and connect with guests.
* Professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring every drink served reflects pride in the role.
* Calmness and confidence under pressure, without the chaos of high-volume city-centre service.
* A team player who wants to contribute to the relaunch of a pub with real heritage.
