SimplyBiz is looking for a motivated and experienced individual with knowledge of intermediated sales in the adviser market to join as a Telephone Account Manager. You could come from a background in sales or customer service, but most importantly, you will have a passion for supporting intermediaries and promoting the benefits of SimplyBiz, with a focus on protection insurance.
The ideal candidate will use a range of interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of ideas and negotiate verbal agreements with a panel of accounts. You’ll be driven to make a positive difference for both SimplyBiz and its members.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with a portfolio of advisers, providing regular support and promoting SimplyBiz’s protection propositions.
2. Sales & Promotion: Communicate the value and benefits of SimplyBiz’s protection products to advisers, driving increased business and meeting sales targets.
3. Client Engagement: Use telephony, social media, online presentations, and email marketing to engage advisers and maximize sales opportunities.
4. Influence: Use strong communication skills to negotiate agreements and deliver the best outcomes with advisers.
5. Strategic Contributions: Contribute to protection sales and volume targets through strategic account management, representing a key segment of adviser customers.
6. Data Analysis: Analyze account performance, identify growth opportunities, and support informed business decisions.
What We're Looking For:
1. Professional Development: Commitment to professional exams, with a minimum of R01 & R05 (or equivalent qualifications).
2. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with excellent networking and collaboration skills.
3. Sales Skills: Experience in sales, particularly within financial services and the protection market.
4. Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze and interpret data to support decision-making and optimize outcomes.
5. Protection Expertise: Previous experience in financial services sales, especially in protection, is desirable.
