Join to apply for the Medical Education Administrator role at NHS Scotland. The Directorate of Medical Education is recruiting two Medical Education Administrators to join their team. These roles support the teaching and training within the health board and provide essential support to ensure that NHS Tayside delivers the General Medical Council and NHS Education Scotland requirements for teaching and training. Working with a team of Administrators, the postholder will be given their own portfolio of duties/responsibilities and will provide pivotal coordination and administrative support for the delivery of Medical Education within NHS Tayside. This includes quality assurance of medical education activities and improvements in medical education delivery, and the recording of teaching and training in job plans and appraisal.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support for medical education activities, including coordinating teaching and training sessions, learners and trainers in NHS Tayside.
* Coordinate administrative tasks to support delivery of Medical Education.
* Quality assure medical education activities and support improvements in education delivery.
* Record teaching and training in job plans and appraisal.
* Work with the team of Administrators to manage a portfolio of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications and requirements
* Hours of work: 37 hours per week.
* Compliance with national standards: Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers (2009) and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
* Seniority: Entry level; Employment type: Full-time.
* Ability to operate within Jobtrain and to support recording in job plans and appraisal.
