About The Role

As a strong administrator, with people at your focus, join our team as a People Development Assistant.
Day to day, you will be based in the People Team (HR) office, helping behind the scenes so that our processes run smoothly.
This admin focused role is based in Broadstairs College, although as part of the East Kent Colleges Group, you'll be needed to travel to our other sites occasionally. This will see you supporting the logistics of our monthly Inductions at different sites, as well as other training events.
Hours per week: 18.5
Working pattern: Ideally 4 or 5 days per week with the hours split across these. The working hours are flexible and can be discussed in more detail at interview.
Location: Broadstairs, Kent
Salary (pro-rata): £13,022

About You
With experience in administration, an ability to work in a fast paced environment, and have competing priorities, you'll fit into our small but impactful team. You'll be accurate and efficient in your work, and will contribute to a solution focused team.
Being proficient in Microsoft Office along with other systems which support our people development will be key to your success.
Day to day you'll be:
* Answering your colleagues queries on all things people development
* Signposting to relevant training & initiatives to support colleagues’ development
* Liaising with training providers
* Processing staff development requestsWorking within our financial processes to make bookings & payments
* Logging completed training on our systems
* Supporting with training event logistics
