As an Electrical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending client sites to carry out diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on a range of electrical systems and equipment.
While the role is based in Saffron Walden, it will involve regular travel to customer locations across the UK. There may be 12 nights per week where overnight stays are required, with all travel and accommodation costs fully covered by the client.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend client sites to diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs
* Perform routine servicing and maintenance of electrical systems
* Conduct detailed fault finding and troubleshooting
* Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
* Complete service reports and documentation accurately
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations
Requirements
* Proven experience working within an electrical engineering environment (essential)
* Previous field service experience is desirable, but not essential
* Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment would be highly advantageous
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required
