The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced CNC XYZ Machinist to join a well-established precision engineering company in Bristol supplying high-precision components to industries including aerospace, defence, energy and rail.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable engineering business producing precision gear and transmission components to tight tolerances.
The Role as a XYZ Machinist

Set up, program and operate CNC XYZ machining centres
*
Manufacture precision components including gears, shafts and splines
*
Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
*
Machine parts to tight tolerances and high quality standards
*
Carry out in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment
About You
Essential Experience as a XYZ Machinist:
*
Experience as a CNC Machinist or XYZ Machinist
*
Strong ability to read engineering drawings
*
Experience with milling and turning operations
*
Background in precision engineering or manufacturing
*
Experience working to tight tolerances
