Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Manager for a well respected food manufacturer to oversee and optimise the organisation’s technical operations.
Overview
To lead the technical compliance function of the site ensuring legislative requirements for food safety within the production environment.
To interface directly with the customer regarding compliance to food safety and quality issues
To ensure that procedures are in place to manage food safety and quality systems e.g. GMP, HACCP
To interface with external bodies with regards to customer and 3rd party audits and follow up any non conformances in a timely manner.
To ensure all preparations are in place for annual BRCGS audit.
· Audit non- conformance – 3rd party, customer
· Complaints and customer rejections
· Staff development
Requirements
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
* Experience in product development and manufacturing processes.
* Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
