The Opportunity This is a great position for an Audio Visual Design and Commissioning Engineer to work for a successful Audio Visual & Technology Integrator, ideally based in the Midlands. As a member of the Pre-Sales team, you will be responsible for designing solutions to meet the customers’ requirements. Part of this process will involve creating technical drawings and writing up the functionality of the system in order to make up part of the proposal documentation. Another aspect of your responsibilities will involve being on hand for the sales team to provide them with technical support during the sales process, carry out site surveys to ensure all aspects of the customers’ requirements are met and the solution proposed technically fits the environment, and specifying the correct amount of labour required to carry out the installation successfully. An element of project management is also required in this role, as you will often be expected to attend project meetings and ensure installations are carried out to a high standard and handed over to the client in a professional manner.
