Stores Operative – Heanor
Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm | Pay Rate - Negotiable | Full-Time
Inplace Personnel Services Ltd are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative on behalf of our client based in Heanor, a leading generator specialist providing hire, sales, and maintenance services across the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a busy and growing team in a key supply chain role.
The Role
* Manage goods-in/goods-out processes with accuracy and efficiency.
* Maintain inventory records and update master data systems.
* Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual stocktakes.
* Handle supplier returns, tooling checks, and van stock control.
* Communicate with internal departments, suppliers, and delivery drivers.
* Keep stores areas clean, secure, and well organised.
* Contribute to process improvements across the supply chain.
The Person
* Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory/stores role.
* An in-date and nationally recognised counterbalance license is required.
* Good IT skills and experience with stock or ERP systems.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
* Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
* Able to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience
