Job Summary
The post holder will work within the Rotation and carry out an acute and rehab mix to their role. In addition, the post holder will:
* Undertake advanced assessments, clinical diagnosis, and treatment of patients with voice, communication, and/or swallowing disorders to support optimal outcomes.
* Work as an autonomous practitioner with a significant specialist clinical caseload without direct supervision.
* Participate in supervision and teaching of Speech and Language Therapists within the clinical specialty and contribute to multidisciplinary team teaching.
* Demonstrate leadership skills, contribute to service development, monitor standards of practice, and support multidisciplinary management of patients.
The rotation includes clinical areas of Acute Stroke, Stroke and Neuro Rehabilitation, Medical, ICU, Respiratory, and Voice, with access to FEES and Videofluoroscopy training. The Trust is moving towards 7-day service provision, and the post holder will participate in this rota system.

Person Specification
Essential: BSc Hons or recognized degree in Speech & Language Therapy; ability to perform assessments and clinical diagnosis.
Desirable: Experience supervising students and involvement in practice development.

DBS check, UK professional registration, and eligibility to work in the UK are mandatory.
