Job Title: Key Account Manager – Furniture Manufacturing
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum + annual bonus
Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield
This is a role for a Key Account Manager who makes things happen. An exciting opportunity to join a market-leading furniture manufacturer as a Key Account Manager, owning strategic customer relationships and driving commercial success across the UK. Based at their Sutton-in-Ashfield office, you will be the go-to commercial lead for key accounts, building trust, spotting growth opportunities and delivering results that matter.
What You Will Be Responsible For
* Strategic account management of key furniture retail and distribution partners to deliver budgeted sales and profit targets while improving market position
* Building strong, long-term relationships with key clients as the main commercial point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
* Driving financial growth by identifying opportunities for account expansion, closing new business deals and growing the existing customer base
* Leading Key Account Plans and translating long-term goals into short, mid and long-term actions
* Supporting proposal development and pricing structures that meet client needs and align with business objectives
* Collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service, impactful launches and omni-channel activation
What You Will Bring
* A couple of years’ experience in sales, business development or account management, ideally within furniture, interiors or home retail
* A self-motivated and ambitious mindset with a hunger for growth and results
* Confidence in commercial negotiations and presenting new solutions to clients
* Strong strategic thinking with the ability to analyse accounts, spot opportunities and build actionable plans
* A collaborative approach, comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced, international environment
* Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to turn data into compelling stories
