About the Role
You’ll work within a well-structured audit team supporting a diverse portfolio of clients — from owner-managed businesses to larger corporates and not-for-profit organisations. The work is varied, technically interesting and designed to help you build towards a senior position.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Planning, executing and completing audit assignments
* Preparing audit files, working papers and final deliverables
* Liaising directly with clients and developing strong professional relationships
* Supporting audit seniors and assisting with on-site fieldwork
* Ensuring compliance with UK audit standards and firm methodologies
* Providing support and guidance to junior team members
What You’ll Bring
* ACA or ACCA part-qualified (or qualified by experience) with at least 2 years in practice
* Solid grounding in audit and assurance work
* Good working knowledge of accounting standards and UK audit regulations
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Confident liaising with clients and colleagues at all levels
* A proactive approach and desire to progress within a respected local firm
