With roots in the wholesale market, the brand is now a recognised name, available in leading UK retailers such as Next, John Lewis, and House of Fraser, as well as internationally through distributors in markets like Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. This is a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-channel business that embraces change and innovation. Managing its own distribution and working closely with retail and e-commerce teams, the company is positioned for even greater growth. This is a key leadership role, overseeing the full Finance and Credit functions while driving critical transformation projects within the business. The Finance Manager will streamline processes, identify efficiencies, and focus on providing insightful analysis to guide strategic decisions. Success in this role requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment, a hands-on approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. You’ll need the experience to make instinctive, sound business decisions and the resilience to tackle challenges head-on while seeking opportunities to drive growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities: • Drive business strategy, including 3-year plans, budgets, and forecasts. • Deliver accurate cashflow forecasting (annual, monthly, weekly). • Manage financial reporting, audits, and statutory deadlines. • Develop margin, channel, and category strategies. • Lead digital transformation projects and implement efficient internal controls. • Oversee rigorous month-end processes, reporting, and analysis. • Ensure compliance with statutory and operational guidelines. • Manage relationships with auditors, HMRC, banks, and stakeholders. • Negotiate financing facilities and evolve them as the business grows. • Maintain legal compliance and review contracts. • Manage payroll and oversee HR (outsourced). • Lead and manage teams, including Finance, Customer Service, and others. • Handle effective foreign exchange management. Requirements: • ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent qualification. • Proven experience in high-volume e-commerce B2C and B2B industries. • ERP experience, ideally involving implementation. • Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills. • Exceptional communication and supervisory skills. • Expertise in technical accounting, compliance, and cross-border trade. • Detail-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
