🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead, motivate, and develop a multi-shift engineering team, ensuring top-tier maintenance and reliability across the site.
* Own and deliver the site’s engineering strategy – from CAPEX projects and asset renewal to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Drive operational excellence through robust PPM and reactive maintenance systems, minimising downtime and boosting efficiency.
* Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance and best practice at every level.
* Partner with production, quality, and operations to make sure engineering enables seamless manufacturing performance .
* Manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions that support long-term site success.
👤 About You
* Proven background in Engineering Management within FMCG or Manufacturing .
* Confident leader with experience managing multi-shift teams and contractors.
* Strong understanding of Lean, CI, and maintenance best practice .
* Skilled in budget control, CAPEX delivery, and senior stakeholder engagement .
* Qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering (NVQ Level 3+), with solid H&S awareness
