1. JOB TITLE: Email Marketing Executive

2. SALARY: £ 35,340-£37,200

3. LOCATION(S): Watford

4. HOURS: Full-time

5. WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of our time at our Watford office.

About this Opportunity

Working with the Assistant Brands and Marketing Manager on the development and execution of email marketing campaigns with a strive to increase engagement from our CRM database. You will work with other team members across the business for different campaigns and will be able to work effectively within an often fast paced and time sensitive environment.

We are looking for someone who understands the need for engaging email communications that deliver excellent outcomes for both business and customers - if a campaign does not drive results you are quick to react and diagnose challenges testing other ideas to identify what works well and what does not. The successful candidate will sit within a friendly and close-knit digital marketing team where our purpose is to drive dedicated digital experiences for customers by creating personalised and trusted brand interactions across all our digital touchpoints. This is the perfect role for someone with a keen desire to help develop and build leading digital channel experiences for customers.

What you’ll need

6. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role with ability to work under pressure

7. Experience in database segmentation and mass sending including automation from a medium to enterprise level email sending platforms (ESP) – e.g. Hubspot, SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, Klaviyo, Braze, etc. ,

8. Work with other teams across the business to meet email demand, which may include frequently emailing existing customers (our drivers) and, occasionally, working to extremely tight deadlines with partners at little notice

9. Highly proactive and not afraid to challenge and always looking for better ways of working, with a “learn and improve” mentality

10. Solution orientated and a keen problem solver

11. Flexible, positive and pragmatic approach with good time management with desire to set and meet deadlines

12. Excellent communicator (both verbal and written) Confidence in liaising with a variety of business partners

13. Excellent attention to detail

And any experience of these would be really useful

14. Creation and implementation of the email marketing campaigns to delivery and optimisation of key digital journeys to engage our CRM database.

15. Design best in-class templates to hit open rate and engagement objectives and ensuring messaging and content is accurate and compelling for our audiences.

16. Working with and supporting Digital Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Executive in strategic audience segmentation across our emailable base to align with email marketing strategy.

17. Frequently report on commercial email performance and suggest areas for improvement, making data led decisions, which enhance the effectiveness of each campaign

18. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data handling skills with experience of analysing email and/or journey performance.

19. Adobe Photoshop or similar photo software with a flair for email design and copywriting
