We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Flatbed Machine Operator (Die-Cutter) to join their skilled production team. The Role As a Flatbed Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining flatbed die-cutting machinery to produce high-quality cardboard and corrugated packaging. Your key responsibilities will include: Setting up and operating flatbed die-cutting machinery (e.g., Bobst or similar equipment) according to job specifications. Monitoring production runs to ensure optimum speed, quality, and minimal waste. Conducting regular quality checks to ensure all finished products meet our rigorous standards and client specifications. Troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing routine first-line maintenance. Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Accurately completing shift logs and production documentation. Shift Details (Continental Pattern) This role operates days and nights on a continental shift pattern, which offers an excellent balance of working blocks and extended time off. What We Are Looking For Experience: Proven experience operating flatbed die-cutters or similar converting machinery within a packaging, print, or corrugated manufacturing environment. Shift Flexibility: Complete comfort working a rotating day and night continental shift pattern. Attention to Detail: Ability to spot defects quickly and maintain high-quality standards under tight deadlines. Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical understanding with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust machine settings. Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a reliable, "can-do" attitude.
