Responsibilities
* Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests in accordance with company standards
* Assist with food preparation and presentation as required, ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained
* Set up dining areas, including table arrangements and condiments, prior to service
* Take orders accurately and handle transactions using the point-of-sale system
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces
* Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and other beverages
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
* Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Experience
* Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is advantageous
* Experience working in a restaurant environment or similar setting is preferred
* Barista experience is considered a plus
* Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards is desirable
* Familiarity with food preparation processes and customer service excellence will be beneficial
* A friendly attitude with strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential
