Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a Legal 500 firm in Leeds, seeking an Employment Senior Knowledge Lawyer to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Keeping the team informed on employment law updates and legal developments.
2. Supporting colleagues with legal research and day-to-day queries.
3. Planning and delivering training sessions, managing the team's learning and development calendar.
4. Mentoring and coaching junior team members to support their growth.
5. Creating, updating, and improving standard legal documents, templates, and guides.
6. Helping streamline processes by developing tools, checklists, and automation where possible.
7. Contributing to knowledge-sharing through team meetings and collaboration.
8. Writing articles, updates, and thought leadership pieces for internal and external use.
9. Assisting in preparing materials for webinars, client training, and public speaking events.
10. Collaborating with marketing on publications, conferences, and business development opportunities.
11. Supporting the preparation of tender documents, pitches, and client proposals.
The successful candidate:
1. Has 8+ years PQE as an employment or knowledge lawyer.
2. Possesses strong written and spoken communication skills, with clear and confident English usage.
3. Is skilled in legal analysis, research, and producing high-quality written work.
4. Is comfortable leading training sessions and delivering engaging presentations.
5. Is meticulous, thorough, and detail-oriented.
6. Is approachable and collaborative, able to connect with colleagues at all levels.
7. Is committed to mentoring and sharing knowledge to support team growth.
