Ref: 23274 MW Title: Accounting Associate Manager (Japanese speaker) Salary: GBP 40-45K (depends on experience) Location: London Status: 1 year FTC Accounting Associate Manager - Responsibilities: * Prepare management accounts, journal entries input, bank reconciliation and consolidation package. * Liaise with external auditor and tax advisor to prepare statutory accounts and tax return. * Oversee payments and invoicing procedure. * Assist in internal control assessment and improvement. * Prepare annual budget and update forecast on a regular basis. * Analyse the variance between budget, actual result and forecast, monitor budget achievement progress. * Support business team in asset management and project development. * Prepare board meeting materials, documents filing and other corporate related administrative matters. * Assist in general administrative duties for team members as appropriate. Accounting Associate Manager - Requirements: * Japanese to mother tongue standard with English fluent * Demonstrable knowledge of accounting treatments (UK GAAP and IFRS) * Demonstrable experience of Statutory Account preparation, VAT return, and statutory reports * Strong Excel skills * Experience and applied knowledge working with a wide range of accounting functions at management level * Proven ability in Management & Financial Accounting * Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities * Excellent accuracy and attention to detail * Taking responsibility for solving problems * Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment Please follow us on Linkedin: company/people-first-team-japan We would be grateful if you could send your CV as a Word document.
