Overview
Please note: This role is for 30hrs per week. As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. It shapes our care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist homes. Our Residents are people with rich lives and personal stories. Responsibilities
* Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
* Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
* Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
* Supporting infection control and safety standards
* Helping with laundry and linen care
* Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
Qualifications and attributes
* Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided
* You\'ll need to be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail
* Most of all, you\'ll bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation - with Residents, visitors, and your team
* Safeguarding is everyone\'s responsibility and it is important that you are able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns
* All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in related areas
