About the Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored digital solutions. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to expand market presence and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and outbound campaigns.
* Build and nurture client relationships, gaining a deep understanding of business needs and technical requirements.
* Prepare and deliver customised proposals, tenders, and presentations.
* Collaborate with technical, design, and marketing teams to scope projects and develop accurate proposals.
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and online platforms.
* Maintain an active pipeline and track progress through CRM tools.
* Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
Essential Skills & Experience
* 3+ years' experience in business development or sales within a similar agency environment.
* Strong knowledge of web technologies, including CMS and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Craft CMS, Shopify).
* Understanding of digital marketing solutions and their commercial value.
* Experience working with project managers, development/design teams, and digital marketing professionals.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to simplify technical concepts persuasively.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
