Our client is looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Senior Associate – Private Client to take the lead on complex matters and help shape the future direction of the team. The Role – Senior Associate, Private Client In this senior role, you will manage a broad and high-quality caseload, including: Wills, trusts, and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals Probate and estate administration, including complex estates Advising on Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning and wealth structuring Creation and management of lifetime and discretionary trusts Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and Court of Protection work Providing tailored advice on asset protection and succession planning You will also: Build and maintain long-term client relationships Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff Contribute to business development and networking activities Play a key role in the strategic development of the team What We’re Looking For To be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate: Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) 5–10 years’ PQE in Private Client work within a UK law firm Strong experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families Excellent technical knowledge of IHT, trusts, and estate planning Proven ability to manage complex matters independently Strong drafting, analytical, and client-facing skills STEP qualification (full or part-qualified) highly desirable Experience supervising junior staff and contributing to team development A commercially minded approach with an interest in business development What’s on Offer Our client offers a highly competitive and comprehensive package, including: Salary: £70,000–£90,000 (depending on experience) Generous annual leave allowance plus bank holidays Private medical insurance Discretionary bonus scheme Pension contributions Ongoing CPD and professional development support Exposure to high-value, complex private client work Clear and structured career progression to Partnership Supportive, collaborative, and well-established team Career Progression This role offers excellent long-term career prospects, including: A clear route to Legal Director and Partnership Opportunities to develop a specialist niche within Private Client Increasing responsibility for key client relationships Involvement in departmental growth and leadership If you are an ambitious Private Client Solicitor ready to take the next step in your career within a progressive and supportive firm, we would be delighted to hear from you.
