Join our dynamic and growing Technology team on a 6-month fixed term contract and help shape how we deliver legal services through smarter collaboration tools and continuous improvement. As an Online Services Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for Online Services queries, supporting colleagues and clients and helping to introduce innovative, practical solutions - with plenty of opportunity to build your skills, deepen your expertise, and grow your confidence as you take on new challenges. If you have previous administration experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and a keen interest in technology, this is an excellent opportunity to get experience in an award-winning law firm. What you'll be doing Acting as first-line support for Online Services queries, logging and managing tickets through our call management system. Administering and configuringHighQ for internal and external users, including creating and supporting new sites (particularly data sites). Supporting live sites and site admins to ensure portals meet firm and client requirements. Troubleshooting application issues, escalating where needed, and providing best-practice guidance. Producing monthly usage statistics, audits and exception reporting (including security/access reviews) across platforms (e.g., HighQ, Microsoft Teams, Contract Express). Working closely with wider Technology, Transformation and project teams to improve how we use collaboration and legal tech. What we're looking for Previous administration experience, ideally in professional services Genuine enthusiasm for technology. Strong organisation, prioritisation and stakeholder communication skills. Confidence working with users at all levels, including clients, with a calm and diplomatic approach. A natural problem-solver who's keen to learn new platforms (specific system experience helpful but not essential). Good awareness of security permissions and access management. Why Burges Salmon?
