Derby College Group (DCG) is seeking a Teacher of Routes to teach our new and exciting provision called Routes. This role is based at our iconic Roundhouse Campus in Pride Park, Derby.
The Opportunity
Are you passionate about re-engaging young people in education and supporting them to achieve their goals? We are seeking an inspiring Teacher for Routes, an innovative new programme tailored for students on Level 1 courses, many of whom have experienced barriers to learning.
About you
We are looking for candidates with experience in supporting and teaching young people who have been disengaged from education. You will have the ability to deliver a holistic curriculum, including Personal Development, Digital Literacy, and Employability Skills. You will possess strong behaviour management strategies and a talent for building positive relationships with students. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, guiding students towards their aspirational destinations, whether that's further education, apprenticeships, or employment.
