About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be home-based and travel to customer sites daily across the UK. You will utilise your technical expertise to calibrate, commission, and repair process weighing and measurement systems using F1 & M1 test weights, stamped flow meters, force calibration test rigs, and multi-function processors. You will also receive training to support Procon's full product range, including beltweighers and boiler leak detection systems, as well as specific calibration disciplines such as temperature, conductivity, pH, pressure, and magnet strength.

Key Responsibilities
6. Calibrate, commission, and troubleshoot on-site process weighing systems using F1/M1 test weights, flow meters, and force calibration rigs
7. Install and commission belt weighers and boiler leak detection systems
8. Calibrate instruments for temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity, and magnet strength
9. Perform off-site repairs of scales and balances at Procon HQ
10. Complete service reports and calibration certificates before leaving site
11. Ensure compliance with all NOV/Procon HSE policies and procedures
12. Support assembly and testing at HQ as needed
13. Provide weekend cover (one in every three Saturdays)
14. Collaborate with or support fellow engineers on joint service jobs
15. Travel and overnight stays across the UK as required
Qualifications & Skills
16. ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC preferred)
17. Time-served engineer or equivalent hands-on field experience
18. Strong background in service/calibration of process weighing equipment
19. Proficient in fault finding on weighing systems
20. Familiarity with electrical diagnostics and calibration equipment
21. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
22. Valid UK driving license

23. Comfortable working under pressure and independently
24. Effective communication and report-writing skills
25. Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
