CIVIL ENGINEER Leicester Are you a Civil Engineer with at least four years' consultancy experience looking to take the next step in Leicester? This is a great opportunity for a Civil Engineer who enjoys owning detailed design work and wants clear progression, flexibility and technical variety within a growing consultancy. You will be joining an expanding civil engineering team delivering highways, drainage and earthworks design across residential and commercial developments throughout Leicestershire and the wider East Midlands. This Civil Engineer role offers close technical support from an Associate, with a clear pathway towards Senior Civil Engineer level or Chartership, alongside genuine hybrid working. The role As a Civil Engineer, you will take responsibility for infrastructure design packages from feasibility through to approval. Key responsibilities include: * Producing detailed designs, drawings and calculations for highways and drainage * Delivering work in line with S278, S38 and S104 adoption standards * Supporting projects from early feasibility through to detailed design and approvals * Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and local authorities * Contributing to planning support, design statements and technical submissions About you This role suits a capable Civil Engineer ready to progress. You will ideally have: * A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent * At least four years' UK consultancy experience in infrastructure design * Strong AutoCAD skills with experience using Civils 3D or Site 3D * Drainage modelling experience and knowledge of DMRB and Manual for Streets * Good communication and technical problem-solving skills Eligibility to Apply Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
