Our Kilkeel Facility in Newry, Mourne and Down, United Kingdom manufactures aircraft interior seating for a number of worldwide customers.
Senior Operations Supervisor
This is a full‑time onsite role. Working hours are 39 hours per week: Monday‑Thursday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am–1:00 pm. The post holder may be required at times to work outside normal working hours for the effective performance of the duties of the post. In addition, the employee may be required to work a different shift pattern than the one outlined in the key terms table dependent on business needs.
Role Overview
Provide leadership to a production team within a lean manufacturing environment where performance is measured against key performance metrics and quality standards and the focus is on driving a culture of continuous improvement.

* Provide leadership and direction to a Production team.
* Ensure performance delivery against key targets/metrics and quality standards (deliver the Master Production Schedule and related KPI’s).
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction to maximise efficiency and effectiveness within a team.
* Effectively manage a team to increase line performance and development of individuals.
* Develop effective relationships within both the production and support departments to achieve organisational goals.
* Ensure that all Health and Safety standards and requirements are met.
* Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and manage change within a fast‑paced production environment.

What you need to succeed
Essential Criteria
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a comparable supervisory role OR
* 3 years’ experience in an MA role OR
* Has successfully completed a relevant Development programme e.g. the ML Development programme, Step up Development Programme, Tech Tracks etc OR
* Hold or working toward a third level education in a relevant discipline AND
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry OR
* Currently working in a P3 role
Desirable Criteria
* Experience of developing training plans.
* Experience of developing team members through coaching and mentoring.
* Experience of developing assembly or logistic processes.
* Leadership of multi‑functional teams.
