Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner
This is a full-time position with various shift patterns between our operating hours of 7:30 am - 6:30 pm. Please note, we operate all year round, so this is not a term-time only role. To thrive in this position, you’ll need a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.
What You'll Do:
* Assist management in delivering the highest standards of care and education.
* Collaborate with the Room Leader and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Contribute creative ideas to planning for high-quality learning experiences.
* Liaise with staff regarding children’s specific needs.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
* Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Promote safeguarding standards for all children and adults.
What We’re Looking For:
* Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification
* Essential: Over 1 year of experience in Early Years
* Desirable: Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating
* Essential: Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements
* Essential: Fluent in written and spoken English
